View Masking Domains

The page carries the list of the currently available domains for masking purpose. If you are login with the admin account, you can view the list of all available domains for masking along with the ability to perform couple of actions to manage them. But if you are login with a user account, you’ll only be able to view the list of masking domains which you are allowed by the admin to view or you have setup using your own user account. See the following table to know more about the actions you can perform and the information which is available on “View Domains for Masking” page.

Following the pattern of the "View" tables within the application, the first column is the serial number of visible records in the table. 


Name of the domain which you have setup to conceal the identity of the local domain or domain of current installation. You will be able to select the masking domain while scheduling the email campaign.


The column suggests the type of the mask forwarding you have applied ."htaccess” or “CNAME”.

If you have a long list of masking domains, you can filter and sort the view table by masking types, typing “htaccess” or “CNAME” in the search box. This search term will sort and show the records according to the type, you have searched for.


If that particular masking domain is blacklisted ( Listed Publically), it will show the status as "Listed" for such domains. Make sure that you have subscribed to the IP/Domain reputation monitor, in order to keep your domains checked for blacklist status. 

Last Checked

The column refers to the date when did the last time, particular domain was checked for blacklist status. 


Followed by the above mentioned details of the currently available “Masking Domains”, table moves to the next column which is “Actions”. The quick action buttons allow performing particular actions to manage the “Masking Domains”

Clicking the “Edit” button under “Action” will take you directly to the page, where you will be able to modify the masking domain. Make sure that if you have edited the masking domain, you will also need to update the “htaccess” or “CNAME” of updated domain to make it work properly.


Delete particular domain from the list by clicking the “Delete” button next to the “Edit” under “Actions”. Before the system effect deletion, a message will appear on your screen to confirm your selection.

a)      Number of records per page

To select the number of records you want to view per page, the page puts a dropdown menu on view towards the top of the page. The dropdown menu starts from 10 records to display, and ends with all records on one page. The following figure indicates the position of the dropdown on the page.

b)      Copy or Print Masking Domains Table

Use the copying options to copy the data in the columns of the table appears below. You can copy the table by using the “Copy” button and can paste it manually in a file, or can copy and save the complete table along with the columns to .CSV file, Excel or PDF format. Further you can get a print out of the complete table by clicking “Print”. See the following figure.

c)      Search SMTP Account

The search box helps to filter or search masking domains by typing masking domain name or the type of the type masking you have applied.  The search function is too intelligent that even if you don’t remember the complete address of masking domain, it will search the required domain by typing few initial matching words.

Furthermore when you start typing into the search box, the application will initiate sorting the relevant domains from the lists.
