Users
Add, edit, delete, and manage client accounts, assign packages, define limits, and update settings to control access and ensure efficient management of client services.
Overview
Users (clients) are accounts that can access Mumara Campaigns with specific permissions and resource limits based on their assigned package.
Viewing Users
Navigate to Users → Users to view all client accounts.
Page Features

Row Actions
Click the ⋯ menu on any row to access:

User Status
| Status | Badge Color | Description |
|---|---|---|
| Active | Green | Normal operational state, full access |
| Suspended | Orange | Temporarily disabled, no access |
| Closed | Red | Account terminated, no access |
Creating a User
Navigate to Users → Users and click Add New +.
The user creation form is a 2-step wizard.
Step 1: User Details
Name *
Enter the client's full name.
Email Address *
Enter a unique email address for login and communication.
Allowed IP addresses to access the account
Restrict account access to specific IP addresses.

Use IP whitelisting for enhanced security, especially for accounts with sensitive data or high sending limits.
Password
Enter a secure password for the account. When editing an existing user, leave blank to keep the current password.
Confirm Password
Re-enter the password for verification.
Language
Select the user interface language for this account.
Click Continue to proceed to Step 2.
Step 2: Package and Settings
Package *
Select a package to assign to this user. Packages define the limits and features available.
Packages must be created before users can be assigned to them. Navigate to Users → Packages to create packages.
Inherit Settings
Toggle switches to inherit limits from the package or set custom values:

When a toggle is disabled, an input field appears to set a custom value.
Maximum threads
Enable to set a custom maximum number of concurrent sending threads for this user.
Sending Domain Restrictions
Require users to configure authentication before sending:

Saving the User
Click Submit to create the user account.
Click Back to return to Step 1.
Editing a User
- Click the ⋯ menu on the user row
- Select Edit
- Modify user details or settings as needed
- Click Submit
Leave password fields blank when editing to keep the existing password.
User Status Management
Activate a User
- Click the ⋯ menu on the user row
- Select Activate
- User status changes to Active
Suspend a User
Temporarily disable account access:
- Click the ⋯ menu on the user row
- Select Suspend
- User status changes to Suspended
Suspended users cannot log in but their data (contacts, campaigns, etc.) is preserved.
Close an Account
Permanently close an account:
- Click the ⋯ menu on the user row
- Select Close Account
- User status changes to Closed
Deleting a User
- Click the ⋯ menu on the user row
- Select Delete
- Confirm deletion
Deleting a user removes the account and associated data. This action cannot be undone.
Adding Credits
The credits feature is only available with a Commercial ESP license.
For accounts with credit-based billing:
- Click the ⋯ menu on the user row
- Select Add credits
- Enter the credit amount
- Click Add
Credits are added to the user's balance immediately.
Login as User
Access a user's account to troubleshoot or assist:
- Click the ⋯ menu on the user row
- Select Login as user
- You are logged in as the selected user
- A session indicator shows you are impersonating a user
Bulk Actions
Select multiple users using checkboxes, then use the Bulk Actions dropdown to perform batch operations on all selected users.
Best Practices
Account Creation
- Use real emails - Ensure users can receive notifications
- Strong passwords - Enforce password complexity
- Appropriate packages - Match resources to user needs
- IP restrictions - Use for sensitive accounts
Account Management
- Regular audits - Review inactive accounts
- Monitor usage - Watch for accounts hitting limits
- Suspend don't delete - Preserve data when possible
- Document changes - Note reasons for status changes
Security
- IP whitelisting - Restrict sensitive accounts
- Session monitoring - Review active sessions
- Regular password updates - Enforce password rotation
Troubleshooting
User Cannot Log In
Possible causes:
- Account suspended or closed
- IP address not whitelisted
- Incorrect password
Solutions:
- Check account status
- Verify IP whitelist settings
- Reset password
User Hitting Limits
Possible causes:
- Package limits reached
- Custom limits too low
- Unexpected sending volume
Solutions:
- Upgrade package
- Adjust custom limits
- Review sending patterns
- Add credits if applicable
User Cannot Access Feature
Possible causes:
- Package doesn't include feature
- Role permissions insufficient
- Feature requires setup
Solutions:
- Check package features
- Review role permissions
- Complete required setup (domains, etc.)
