Licensing
Manage and view your Mumara Campaigns license information. This page allows you to update your license key, verify activation status, and see which features and addons are included with your current plan.
Navigate to Settings → Licensing to access license management.
License Key
At the top of the page, you can enter or update your license key:

When you enter a new license key and click Update, the system contacts Mumara's license server to validate the key and retrieve your entitlements.
License Information
Below the license key input, a detailed information panel shows your license status:

| Status | Current license state (Active, Expired, Suspended, Invalid) with a Refresh button to re-check |
| Registered to | Name of the license holder |
| License Type | Deployment type (e.g., Selfhosted, Cloud) |
| License Key | Your unique license identifier |
| Edition | Product edition with optional Change Plan link |
| Licensed Domain | The domain this license is registered to |
| Licensed IP | Server IP address bound to this license |
| Licensed Directory | Installation path on the server |
| Addons | List of included addons and features |
| Activation Date | When the license was first activated |
Status Badge
The Status field displays a colored badge:
| Status | Badge | Description |
|---|---|---|
| Active | Green | License is valid and all features are available |
| Expired | Yellow/Orange | License has expired, renewal required |
| Suspended | Red | License suspended, contact support |
| Invalid | Red | License key not recognized |
Click Refresh to re-validate your license with Mumara's servers. This is useful after renewing or if you suspect the cached status is outdated.
Edition and Change Plan
The Edition field shows your current product tier (e.g., "Commercial ESP"). If you're eligible to upgrade or change your plan, a Change Plan link appears next to the edition name, directing you to Mumara's plan management portal.
Licensed Addons
The Addons section displays all features and addons included with your license. Each enabled addon shows a checkmark.
Addons extend Mumara's functionality with specialized capabilities. Examples include:

The specific addons available depend on your license plan. Contact Mumara sales to add more addons to your license.
If an addon appears in your list but the feature isn't working, try clicking Refresh to resync your license. If the issue persists, the addon may need to be installed separately via Add-ons Management.
Updating Your License Key
If you receive a new license key (from purchase, renewal, or plan change):
- Navigate to Settings → Licensing
- Enter the new license key in the License Key field
- Click Update
- The system validates the key with Mumara's servers
- License information refreshes with your new entitlements
The page will display updated information including any new addons or changed limits.
License Binding
Your license is bound to specific server details:

| Domain | Ensures the license is only used on the registered domain |
| IP Address | Ties the license to your server's IP |
| Directory | Validates the installation path |
Server Migration
If you move Mumara to a new server:
- The domain, IP, or directory will no longer match
- License validation will fail
- Contact Mumara support to update your license binding
- Once updated, enter your license key and click Update
Each license has limited activations. Support can reset your activation count if you need to migrate to a new server.
License Verification
The system periodically verifies your license:

Offline Handling
If your server cannot reach Mumara's license server:
- Cached license data continues to work temporarily
- A warning may appear in the admin panel
- Restore internet connectivity to refresh license status
- Extended offline periods may restrict functionality
Troubleshooting
License Validation Failed
Possible causes:
- Incorrect license key entered
- Network connectivity issues (server can't reach Mumara)
- License expired or suspended
- Domain/IP mismatch after server changes
Solutions:
- Double-check the license key for typos
- Verify server has outbound internet access
- Click Refresh to retry validation
- Contact support if domain or IP has changed
Addons Not Appearing
Possible causes:
- License not refreshed after plan upgrade
- Addon not included in your plan
- Addon needs separate installation
Solutions:
- Click Refresh to resync license data
- Verify your plan includes the addon
- Check Add-ons Management for installation status
"Change Plan" Link Not Visible
This link only appears when:
- Plan upgrades are available for your license
- Your account is eligible for self-service plan changes
Contact Mumara sales directly if you don't see the link but want to upgrade.
